How I Work
Every project starts the same way: in your house, with you, talking about how you actually live in it. Where the mornings happen. What room nobody uses. What you've been meaning to fix for four years.
From there, how much help you need is up to you.
Full-Service Interior Design
For rooms and renovations that need a complete vision.
We start with concept and go through to the final selections: space planning, cabinetry and finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, furniture, textiles, paint, sourcing, and styling. Scope depends on the project. The goal doesn't: one cohesive design, shaped around your home, your life, and your budget.
Renovation Design + Coordination
For kitchens, bathrooms, and additions, where the design has to survive contact with construction.
I develop the design, specify every material and finish, and then stay in it. That means communicating the details to your contractor, being available when questions come up on site, and being there through the parts where decisions get made fast.
Your contractor handles the construction, the schedule, permits, and the quality of the work. I handle the design and everything that has to be decided for it to get built the way we drew it.
Room Refresh + Design Consultation
Sometimes you don't need to start over. You need another set of eyes.
Furniture placement. Paint. Lighting. Styling. Or the more common version: a room you can't put your finger on, that has never quite felt finished.
We'll figure out how much support your space actually needs.
What happens once we start
Renovations rarely go wrong because someone picked the wrong tile. They go wrong because the tile wasn't picked when the tile setter showed up.
So I keep a tracker your contractor can see: every decision still outstanding, links to everything already chosen, where we are against the budget. It's not glamorous. It's why, on every project so far, no one has stood waiting on me.
Before that, I spent eighteen years running projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Renovations turn out to be the same job with better materials.
About materials
I reach for natural before synthetic. Wool over manufactured, real stone over engineered. If low-VOC finishes or particular certifications matter to you, I'll source to that standard.
But it's your home, not my project. What you want leads.
